It’s usually a safe bet to club up when you’re playing in weather below 50-60 degrees. In the cold weather, the ball isn’t going to travel as far, and that can throw off your game a bit if you’re not prepared. Take advantage of this, and give yourself the best shot you can to the green. Winter rules allow you to pick, clean and place your golf ball when you’re in the fairway.
